About Us

The initial call from God came in the early ‘70’s when my wife and I were involved in the Bonham Assembly of God Church.
We pastored 2 churches in the Assemblies of God.
It was not until the late ‘80’s that I really began to understand the Five Fold Ministry. God began to use me in prophetic ministry and I have felt an Apostolic anointing for several years.

We pastored Church of the Living Word from 1986 until 1995, when we changed the name of the church to “Oasis of Grace Fellowship”. We pastored there until September 2005.

It was in June 2000 when God gave me a profound word concerning Laborers Together with Him. “Laborers Together Ministries” was founded in October, 2000. Our heart is to minister to the Body of Christ and to build up the Kingdom of God by uniting with others of like calling. To mature the saints and encourage all who are working for God. We have held small conferences, workshops and crusades. We are available for ministry in churches where needed. We will work for Him until He comes or calls.

Vision Statement: 1 Cor 3:9 “For we laborers together with God…”

Knowing the time is short to accomplish God's work in the earth, we desire to combine our efforts with other ministers and ministries who are truly laboring for the Kingdom of God, to work together and do God's will. The only glory we seek is to see God's glory and to glorify Him. It is our goal to lift up the hands of, and encourage the pastors of small churches who are giving their life to the Kingdom of God. Finding the need and allowing other laborers to join with us in meeting that need is our vision.

Being led by the Spirit of God is mandatory (“Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it:…” (Psalms 127:1). As we labor together with Him, He confirms His word with signs following. Hand in hand, heart to heart, building the Kingdom of God

Statement of Faith

Laborers Together Ministries accept both Old and New Testament as the inspired and revealed Word of God, as the all sufficient rule of faith and practice, for the purpose of maintaining general unity, we adopt this statement of faith:

I. The Bible - Both the old and New Testaments is inspired of God and is the revelation of God to man, the infallible authoritative rule of faith and conduct (2 Tim 3:15-17; I Thess 2:13; 2 Pet 1:21)

II. The Godhead – The one true God has revealed himself as the eternally self-existent “I AM”, the Creator of Heaven and Earth and the Redeemer of mankind. He has further revealed Himself as embodying the principles of relationship and association as Father, Son, and Holy Ghost (Deut 6:4; Isa 43:10, 11; Matt 28:19; Lu 3:22)

III. The Holy Spirit

  • The Baptism in the Holy Spirit - The baptism of believers in the Holy Spirit is witnessed by the physical manifestation of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit of God gives them utterance (Acts 2:4). All believers are entitled to, and should, ardently expect and seek the promise of the Father (Joel 2:28, 29)
  • Gifts of the Holy Spirit – the gifts of the Holy Spirit are available to all believers and should be desired by all believers (1 Cor 12:7; 8:-11)). The purpose of the gifts of the Spirit is for the edifying of the believers (1 Cor 12:7; 1 Cor 14:12).
  • Fruit of the Spirit – Outward manifestation of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit (Rom 8:11; Gal 5:22-25)
IV. The Ministry – A divinely called and scripturally ordained ministry has been provided by our Lord for the purpose of leading the church in worship, evangelism, and the building of a body of saints being perfected in the image of His Son (Eph 2:20 – 22; 1 Pet 2:4-5).
  • Divine Healing – Divine healing is an integral part of the Gospel. Healing for the mind, soul, and body is provided for in the atonement, and is the privilege of all believers (Isa 53:4, 5; Matt 8:16, 17; James 5:14-16).
  • Ministry Gifts (Five Fold Ministry) – The gifts as ordained by Christ set forth in Scripture for the work of the ministry, the perfecting of the saints, and the edifying of the body (Eph 4:8 – 13)
  • Deliverance – The deliverance of all men from evil spirits, addictions, afflictions, and all manner of diseases as provided for in Scripture (Luke 4:18, 8:26-39; MK 16:16-18).
V. The Rapture of those who have fallen asleep in Christ and their translation together with those who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord is the blessed hope of the church (1 Thess 4:17; Rom 8:23; Titus 2:13; 1 Cor 25:51-52).
VI. The Second coming of Christ - The visible return of Christ with His Saints to reign on the earth for one thousand years (Zech 14:5; Matt 24:30; Rev 19:11-14).
VII. The Final Judgment – There will be a final judgment in which the dead will be raised and judged according to their works. Whoever is not found written in the Book of Life will be consigned with the devil and his angels, the beast and the false prophet, to everlasting punishment in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death (Matt 25:46; Rev 19:20, 20:11-15, 21:8).
